Creative Workshops

The Silk Maid conducted Spring & Summer Workshops at Riley Burnett for children. The very youngest participant was just 2. Some mothers and grandmothers also joined in at their Emporium in Lennox Head. The school holiday workshops were great fun with lots of colour and joyful young faces creating fabulous artworks.

We had a wonderful series of workshops on board Celebrity Solstice sailing through the islands of The South Pacific.

This autumn saw The Silk Maid head south for "The Autumn Leaves Convention". A more welcoming and creative lot you couldn't hope to find. Thank you ladies of The Embroiderers Guild of Ballarat for your warm hospitality.

At The Silk Maid we are dreaming new dreams of silk and art under a Queensland sky in 2018.
